Differentia specifica of housing in Poland on the international arena

The main purpose of the study presented in article is identification characteristics that distinguish housing situation Poland from other countries around world. Additionally, paper aims to indicate limitations conducting housing-related comparative analyses. research was based on Eurostat and OECD data for 2020 literature subject taking into account historical context, essentially dating back 1989. used desk method. showed many aspects below EU average. On hand, it also characterised by a number positive features: growing construction sector, low percentage homeless people, dominance apartment ownership family support satisfying needs relatively high level satisfaction with one’s place residence considering values objective indicators describing conditions. identified international analyses included lack consistent methodology studying homelessness variation timeliness availability individual countries.
